SageConvert is designed to run locally and offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identifying information (PII). Any data entered into the app for unit or currency conversions is processed completely on your mobile device.
The App uses your device's local storage (e.g., localStorage or system storage caches) to save your preferences, conversion history, and currency exchange rates. This data stays entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers or any third-party databases.
When your device is online, the App makes network calls to a public, free exchange rate API (https://open.er-api.com) to sync active foreign exchange rates. This query does not transmit any user accounts, device identifiers, or financial details. We also integrate Google Play Billing APIs securely to process in-app upgrades; any billing transactions are handled directly and securely by Google Play Billing, and we do not see or collect your credit card or payment credentials.
The App is a mathematical utility and is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective immediately when posted on this page.
